Common error messages

"File type not supported"
We accept JPG, PNG and PDF files. Photos taken on some iPhones are saved as HEIC, which won't upload. Either take a screenshot of the photo and upload that, or change your camera setting to Settings > Camera > Formats > Most Compatible and retake the photo.

"File too large"
Files must be under 10 MB. Retake the photo at a lower resolution, crop out any background, or compress the PDF before uploading.

"Upload failed" or the upload stops partway
This is usually a connection problem. Move to a stronger Wi-Fi or mobile signal and try again.

"Document already submitted"
You've already uploaded this document and it's waiting for review. You don't need to upload it again. Most reviews are completed within 24 hours.

The upload button doesn't respond
Update the app to the latest version, or try uploading through the website instead. On the website, try a different browser, or clear your browser cache.

Before you upload

  • Upload each document as a separate file.

  • Include every page of multi-page documents.

  • Make sure the whole document is visible, with all four corners and nothing cropped.

Where to upload

Log in and go to My Account > Upload Documents, choose the document type, then select your file.
